The mighty Matt Tierney is squaring away the graphics right now. The hardcover has a different cover graphics package, an additional preface, and two more drawings.
My copy comes today, amazon said yesterday, that turned into today, when the Hardcover is available, I will be ordering one. The paperback will go to my daughter.
really enjoyed the book, jack. had to say that i did not know you and mr. epstein had such a close personal relationship but once you talked about all the time you spent together on little saint james it all made more sense.
"I appreciate those of you who have taken the leap to read twenty stories about feral cats, as opposed to, say, some Chris Harris book about how STONKING the MEGA FEZZA V12 is and so on."
At least Harris had the balls to get temporarily blacklisted by Ferrari (from press cars and from retail sales) for revealing the use of specially prepared ringers for press cars.
I wonder what would have happened if he had instead made fun of the way Luca di Montezemolo drove on track.
Cormac McCarthy said that the core of literature is the idea of tragedy, a theme repeated throughout the stories, so a death discovered the eve of it's publishing gives perhaps a spiritual nod marking the event.
Looking forward to the hardcover version as even Jack finally getting off his ass and publishing won't end my personal avoidance of all things Amazon. After I pass and the book winds up at Goodwill I hope they display the backcover.
Slightly to my surprise (which says more about me, I suppose) and by the miracle of modern commerce, this is immediately available on the sceptr'd isle. I have accordingly dealt and will repeat the same for my cat loving daughter anon.
Impatiently awaiting the signed hardcover version!

Sorry, being a bit dense, but is the PayPal address for the hardcover the cattalesbook.com address or your Gmail address?
Either should work.
