This Syria Mess
My friend Cameron has asked me and everybody else he knows to share this video, which he recorded at Bagram Airfield yesterday. I agree with his sentiments. More than that, however, I'm sad to see how sober and concerned he looks in this video. Cameron and I ran a major part of Honda's production-line computing for 18 months together. He's been a good friend to me and the two of us have had some brilliant times everywhere from my 40th birthday party to the Anna Engine Plant. We had a running competition to see who could get away with saying "bukkake" in front of the most members of the Japanese management. He had a smile on his face about 90% of the time and the fact that he can't muster one now is perhaps more eloquent than anything he says about the situation.
If you're an attractive young woman reading this, you should be aware that the beard and the Army-issue plastic glasses won't make it back to the States when he does. If he does. Don't even want to think about that.
