Really, Almost Any Other Photo Would Have Been Better
One of my readers recommended that I investigate the mighty Kawasaki ZZR-1200. Successor to the world's-fastest-at-introduction ZX-11, the ZZR-1200 is supposedly the most powerful carbed production bike in history.
Well, someone's got one for sale on Columbus Craigslist. But that photo...
The text of the ad doesn't raise my confidence much.
2002 zzr1200 kawasaki 22k miles. Sold as is. It needs carbs cleaned, the cam chain tensioner cleaned and reset, and shim the valves for good measure since its sat and it's a fast bike, as well as put new tires on before riding. haven't gotten to it. If you can't handle the bike as is then it's not for you. Fired up fine a month ago but cant keep it running now. New gel battery only a few months old. Email full name and number or no response. Cash only no trades no offers, cash in hand in person. leave full name and number. The engines worth more than I'm asking on ebay alone. If there's a real biker amongst you come rescue this bike from a wintery fate.
I wish I had time and a shop manual. I'd give it a shot.
