Interested in buying some fun holiday gifts for the audiophile in your life? Sure you are.
My friend John Marks has just released his Stereophile Gift Guide and it has a bunch of great suggestions on it. I've been following John's advice over the past few months, rebuilding my home stereo system to be somewhere between low-and-mid-fi, and I don't think you can go wrong when you listen to the man. As fate would have it, I have the Mofi SACD of Frank Sinatra's "Where Are You?", pictured above, and I could not be any more satisfied with it. It's a great record for lonely nights.
Not that any of my readers have lonely nights; you're like the children in Lake Wobegon, all safely above average.
But I've had a few.
