Hey Buddy, Wanna Buy A Corvette?

Danger Girl's old C5 Corvette is currently on Bring A Trailer with a top bid of $16,000.

That's a good deal, and I'll explain why.

In addition to being a pampered car that spent much of its life on the West Coast and/or in a sealed garage, the Corvette has had quite a few expensive upgrades. Matt's additions to the car probably totaled $20k, and I put another $4k of parts and labor into it last year. It runs hard, corners well, and turns in relatively low lap times. You would have a hard time getting a better-condition car with more power and handling for less money.

The only reason we got rid of it was so I could buy Spike The Accord and try my hand at a different racing class. Danger Girl has been openly musing the idea of bidding on the car so she can have it back. If you don't want to bid against her, drop a note and let me know :)
