Fantasy And Reality, Three-Quarter-Ton Truck Style

Here's some fantasy for you, courtesy of the "Latino Victory Fund".

And the reality?

There were children who were run down yesterday. But it wasn't some "Don't Tread On Me" bro-dozer type doing the killing. It was a fellow who shouted "Allahu Akhbar!" and who left a note referencing ISIS. He was, predictably, an immigrant from a majority-Muslim country, allowed to come here by a national immigration policy that sometimes seems consciously designed to turn away high-value, high-education, high-asset future American citizens in favor of moronic warm bodies who can be trusted to vote a certain way.

A few years after the Sandy Hook shootings, some media wag (I can't find the quote) said something to the effect of "Once we determined that we would let kids die in order to not have gun control, the discussion was essentially over." I'm not sure I agree with the cause and effect there, but the quote is a powerful one. This country will let children die if doing so protects the right of the American citizen to own a gun.

I think it's time for us to admit something similar regarding "lottery immigration" and all the other means by which the political class is demographically reshaping America. We will cheerfully let children die in order to have more young men from the Middle East enter this country, even though there appears to be little benefit to doing so. We will let children be brutally executed in order to have more low-cost labor. We will pay any price and bear any burden if it keeps the price of strawberries at a comfortable level. There is no solution besides additional immigration. Democrats and Republicans agree!

Very predictably, the media response to yesterday's terrorist attack has been to remind us all of Stephen Paddock and the Las Vegas shooting. "WHAT COUNTRY DID PADDOCK COME FROM LOL." But that's deliberately deceptive. It's like saying that people who have heart disease should also play Russian Roulette in their spare time. The existence of homegrown terrorism is not a reason to add more terrorists from overseas.

This "Latino Victory Fund" commercial amounts to an explicit and declared attack on "rednecks" and "Confederates". It paints a very stark picture: white men in trucks vs. young Muslim girls in headscarves. It could just as easily be a recruiting ad for ISIS. And it sends a strong and deliberate message: the future of America has nothing to do with the people who have lived here in the past. For the sake of all Americans, regardless of creed or color. let's hope that such a message falls on deaf ears.
