Add Me (And My Brother) To The List Of Famous Mercedes SLC Racers

Sure, it looks like just a plain old 450SLC... but in 45 days it will be a completely caged and prepped race car, and I'll be racing it at MSR Houston. And for the first time, I'll have my brother as an enduro co-driver.

As this video clearly shows, there are few things as awesome as a properly-prepared 450SLC. Even hitting a few trees/animals/Bushmen doesn't stop the coolness. We expect that the "Syndicate SLC" will be a worthy addition to the list of SLCs blooded in combat. We probably won't win --- one of the things you need to win LeMons is reasonable fuel economy, and a Benz V-8 doesn't play that game --- but we will probably surprise a few people.

I'll be announcing it on TTAC later on in the month, but this is a sneak preview: I'll be inviting our fans to meet us before the race and have a few drinks on us. If you're in the Houston area or anywhere near, come on out and meet me, my brother, some other Internet-famous members of the TTAC staff, and perhaps the infamous Snow Queen herself. I promise you that you don't want to miss meeting her.
