A Milli

It took me twenty-three months to get 500,000 hits on this blog. It's taken eleven months to get the next half-million. So, as you can plainly see, Bark and I are WordPress millionaires.
As I did at the half-million mark, I'll answer a few Infrequently Asked Questions below.
Dude, the book... Over a year ago, I assembled a "greatest hits" book containing about 310,000 words. I haven't released it because I've been working on coming up with some content that will be unique to said book and there simply hasn't been enough time in the day or the week or the year. 2016, however, is the year of the book. I can feel it.
And the album... Is postponed indefinitely. If I had time to record it, I'd have time to write the rest of the book and I'm not self-deluded enough not to know which one people would rather have from me.
The MelodyBurner... Discontinued, to my immense consternation and sorrow.
How are you physically? Better every day. I'm no longer kidding myself that I'll get back to where I was in 2013, but I do expect to be functional enough to continue to race and ride and travel.
And your passenger? She's continuing to experience some serious challenges but her spirit remains unbroken and she's back to working her sixty-five-hour week despite having more titanium and transistors inside her than a first-gen Acura NSX. As recently noted in these pages, she's now the owner of a Yamaha YZF-R3 and the ex-Matt-Farah Fiesta ST.
How's the kid? He continues to be the primary joy of my life. Last week he demanded the Lego Architecture Studio so he could "make all-white buildings which is the only way I want to make them so the shape is easiest to see." Well, they say that Frank Lloyd Wright was also demanding and unpleasant.
What about Bark? He's up a couple grand at the tables so far this year. His son is playing goalie for a soccer team full of kids two and three years older than him. Other than the fact that he's buried under a foot of snow in Kentucky, I don't think he has any complaints.
Are you guys racing this year? We are aiming for the full AER season. I'm going to compete in several NASA races. Supposedly, we are also going to run the EXR series in Las Vegas but that's up in the air as the series reschedules and changes priorities.
Any other news? Nope. Keep coming back, please. Each and every one of you is important to us and we are grateful you're here. Without the commenters, this is a very boring site.
